She's Ordered!

Another big move made...our Princess is coming home...Pioneer Princess wood cookstove that is!  This will be our heating, cooking and hot water source for our homestead.  We are very excited and look forward to delivery in the next couple of weeks.

We were able to do enough research to find the manufacturer of the cookstove.  They are Suppertime Stoves located in Aylmer, ON.  This Amish family business began in 1979 and we were very happy to be able to do business directly with them and to be able to ask them questions about what we were looking for.

Definitely excited to bake our first bread!  You know there will be more photos once it arrives.  Things are progressing...and I will put on some new photos and updates later this week.

Sweet Dreams all...I will be thinking of my Princess.

Moving Forward

Trench Diggers
It has been a while since I posted...things have been busy!

We are currently working on the project of bringing water into the building before the snow starts to fly.  We were not so far off this week as we actually had a bit of snow...it did not stay on the ground but it was flying.  Wide range of weather from freezing to 22 degress today.  Definately felt good being outside today.

Wanting to wish everyone a great Thanksgiving weekend.  Today was the last Saturday Bridgewater Farmers Market http://bridgewaterfarmersmarket.ca/ so we stopped in and picked up some eggs from the Corkum brothers and  some hot peppers from Rumtopf Farm.

Until next time!
